I have been making my little Hitty dolls, as well as enjoying viewing Hittys made by other doll artists/designers, for so long that it never occured to me that anyone could have not known what a Hitty does was. Now I am finding through posts to digests that there are still people on the internet whom do not know about Hitty. Please view the link that I have included with this posting (http://users.zoominternet.net/~rbtson/about_hitty). A very good description
in my opinion. I am proud to make my little interpretations of Hitty - both in originals that I sell, and my patterns. On my website http://barbspencerdolls.com you will find both finished cloth Hitty dolls, pattern for cloth Hitty and a pattern for cloth Hitty pin (and pins of her friends); also patterns for Hitty's imaginary mother and grandmother. When time permits, I will be making more collectible Hitty dolls and designing other Hitty patterns. I hope that you find this information to be informative. Blessings, Barb

Request to Customers
I have a request to my customers. When placing an order on my website "Barb Spencer's Enchanted Attic" http://barbspencerdolls.com, please make sure that you can be reached via e-mail. So many times customers place their orders using PayPal and then start waiting for their merchandise. If I am out of a product, or need to ask for information not specified on orders (i.e. color), I need to send you an e-mail and then hear back from you. Because of so many spammers, I know that restrictions are placed on the acceptance of e-mails. If you would put my e-mail address (ctx40843@centurytel.net) in your address book aftering ordering, you should be able to receive my e-mails. Thanks so much. Barb

Daily Schedule at the Enchanted Attic
Most days at the Enchanted Attic start the same. I check my e-mail messages and my notifications from PayPal. Precious and Charity are brushed and taken to McDonald's for breakfast. We might do a little shopping before coming home. Both dogs have their little beds in the car and love to ride. Sometimes we deliver merchandise to the postoffice in the morning; sometimes in the afternoon. Back to the Attic Office to communicate with customers. Mark items "Sold" on my website http://barbspencerdolls.com Then it is time for lunch, both for myself and the dogs. Sometimes in-between I do laundry and prepare food for the evening. Very little time for design or sewing, but I now have two Hitty dresses completed. I was going to begin making a Hitty doll last night, but because of thunder and lightning both dogs wanted on my lap. Most times my husband gets a good evening meal.
